Inauguration Day

I see stories featuring protesters, I hear left wingers on NPR saying, "We're not gonna take four more years, we're gonna keep coming back," I hear they attacked Protest Warrior... and I smile. A big, warm, beatific, smug smile. They're reduced to criticizing his speaking style (let me take a moment away from my transcendental inner calm to rant "No kidding Robert Siegel, that's NEWS?").

Further into the first story, Michelle Norris discusses a security checkpoint where some of the President's bewildered supporters are stuck next to protesters. What a perfect opportunity to give them a nice big smile, maybe show them Michael Moore's "L" for Loser sign, chant "Four more months!" Ahh, I love them. Those hecklers who interrupted the Pres' speech, just misguided, good-hearted children. Barbara Boxer, John Kerry... they're such nice Americans. So silly. Let them run and play. The Democrats are going to be obstructionist... Let's heal the divisions and unite the country. Open our arms. Owww-uuummmmmm...
